Broadway Sings
Matthew is the current chair holder since 2019 for the tenor trombone book with Broadway Sings. Founded in 2012, this concert series reimagines, rearranges & reorchestrates the tunes of a pop superstar to fit the special strengths of the certain broadway performer singing the given song. We have incorporated over 300 broadway performers into our shows, including 30 tony award nominees. The New York Times calls the series “sheer brilliance” and has landed on playbill’s “Best of the Year” lists for multiple years in a row. The series can currently be found selling out Sony Hall, the Cutting Room, and the Green Room 42.
Kidz Theater
Matthew has played several shows with Kidz Theater since 2019. Kidz Theater is a professional development company for young performers who are seeking a career in musical theater. We offer classes and productions for performers ages 7-18 and strive to teach artistry and form a strong community. Our Main Stage productions push social justice issues to the forefront, and through strong storytelling, our performers get to make a strong statement about the world.
Swingadelic
Matthew frequently performs with the Swingadelic Big Band showcasing a wide variety of swing dance tunes and improvisation. Swingadelic plays about 100 dates per year and has traveled from Maine to Atlanta. Swingadelic has maintained a residency at Swing46 in NYC where it performs every Wednesday as a ten-piece "little big band."
